Air, part ongoing series of alchemic exploration, That Which Makes Us, fits into the broader narrative of the series Places That Aren't - insofar as they reflect the collective experience and internal drive which motivates the constant invention of utopias. Just as those long-lost lands and mystical cities of yearning come from the same source, so too, the entire world along with us, its inhabitants, are born of the same elements. Air is a great gale. Air is a hurricane. Air tears you from your footing. So too, Air is breath. Air is the basis from which we draw life.
