Changes & Third-Party Links

Material changes to this Policy will be posted on our homepage. The website may link to third-party sites that are not covered by this Policy, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Terms of Service

This site is operated by Moshe Shamah, Osek Zair, Founder and CEO of Studio Shamah ("the Company"), based in Israel. These Terms do not derogate from any applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Law, 1981; where a conflict exists, the law prevails. By using this website or making a purchase, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

1. Image Copyright & Licensing

All images, artworks, and content displayed on this website are the property of Studio Shamah / Moshe Shamah and are protected by copyright. No image may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or otherwise used without a valid license from the Company. Unauthorized use of any image constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action, including claims for damages.

2. Custom Commissions

  • Commission sales are final from the date the commission is placed.

  • If an error occurs in fulfilling the order due to a mistake by the Company, the Customer is entitled to a 25% refund.

  • Completion dates for custom commissions are open-ended and set by the artist according to the needs of the piece, except for time-bound commissions (e.g., ketubot), which follow an agreed submission date.

3. Standalone Artworks & Series

  • Sales of standalone artworks and series are final.

  • A 75% refund is available if requested within seven (7) days of purchase. No refund is available after this period.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Products are shipped via third-party postal or courier services. The Company is not responsible for loss, damage, or delay caused by the postal service once the shipment has left the Company's possession or Israel. Where an issue arises on the Israeli side, prior to the shipment leaving the country, the Company will assist the Customer in tracking the order and communicating with the postal service. The Company is not liable for delays caused by force majeure (e.g., strikes, lockdowns).

5. Making a Purchase

The Customer must provide accurate details to ensure smooth order processing. A purchase is confirmed once payment is approved by the relevant financial institution; the Company is not obligated toward the Customer before such approval. Completing a purchase adds the Customer to the Company's customer list, which may be used for direct communications.

6. Right to Purchase

Only individuals aged 18 or over (or authorized legal entities), with the legal capacity to contract, may purchase products or services on this website.

7. Payments

All displayed prices include VAT and exclude shipping and installation costs. Installment payments are charged monthly according to the agreed schedule, including applicable interest.

8. Statutory Cancellation Rights

Custom commissions and standalone artwork/series sales are governed by Sections 2 and 3 above. For any other purchases, where applicable by law, the Customer may cancel within 14 days of purchase or receipt, per Section 14C of the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (extended to four months for customers with disabilities, senior citizens, or new immigrants where a dialogue occurred with the Company). Cancellation notices: shamah@studioshamah.com. Where a cancellation fee applies, it will not exceed 5% of the product price or NIS 100, whichever is lower.

9. Product Information & Liability

Product and artwork images are for illustration purposes; the finished piece may vary slightly from images shown. The Company reserves the right to cancel a sale in the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, and is not liable for information provided by third-party manufacturers or suppliers.

10. Privacy & Data Security

See the Privacy Policy above. Payment details are transmitted directly to the payment processor and are not stored by the Company.
